i just realised i have very unsupportive friends. i mean, if one of my friends is having a gig, i would totally go and support without him/her asking. its not because i enjoy it. be it a dance, an ochestra or whatever, i'll still go to support my friends.
when i talked abt my gig on my blog and personal message, not even 1 (there might be a few, i dun rmb) asked abt going. i have to personally invite, and then people get interested. dun get me wrong, i dun mind inviting people to come, it just shows how much support i have. even the closer friends i haf, didnt even think of gg, giving reasons like busy and no money. i dun mind if you reaaaally cant make it, but i think most of you are just making excuses.
still thats not so bad. worse is when some people say they will come, and when i ask again a few days before the gig, they say they cant. its like, cant you people just send a message or give a call and tell me you cant make it? at least saf and khai have the courtesy to tell me, the rest of you conveniently forget. its not so simple. i have a quota of how many tickets to sell. and i haf to give the money a few days before the gig, thus using my own money. and when some of you cancel last minute, its really fucked up.
for those of you coming, thanks a lot, really. you guys are the kind of friends i should hang out more with. some of you are not even interested in my kind of music, but u guys still wanna support. so yea, thanks.
i think i wanna quit performing after this gig. theres too many problems. money spent on jamming, selling tickets, song choice and stuff. yea i might perform, maybe in sch or sth, where it doesnt involve selling tickets. its just too much trouble. like for example, im leaving for a camp 2mr, and during that i haf to leave for the gig. damn.
